Larimar is sometimes called the “Gemstone of the Caribbean” because its blues and whites mimic the sky and sea. It’s also known as the “Atlantis Stone” or “Dolphin Stone”. The name Larimar comes from the daughter of one of the men who first found it, Lari for Larissa, and Mar for sea.
